Myself and the eco committee went to the National Eco-Committee meeting that was held at the Botanical Gardens of Wales. The theme was the ocean and we learnt a lot about how to take more care of it, and many interesting facts e.g. Jelly fish have been on earth for 650 million years! We took part in many activities, and we made a model of a sea bass out of recycled items. We had a great day learning and having fun. by Lili and the Eco Committee

BIG BATTERY HUNT
We have joined over 1,800 schools already participating in one of the largest recycling challenges in the UK with the Big Battery Hunt. The Eco Committee want to help make a difference to recycling behaviour for generations to come.
ECO FASHION SHOW
The eco committee held a fashion show for the school, giving everyone the challenge of creating something to wear using old clothes / material. We presented our ideas to the school in assembly and showed them what they could make. After creating another presentation and organising judges we were ready for the show! Every class had fun dancing and walking down the catwalk showing off their recycled items. The judges had a difficult job of choosing three from each class to award, great effort from everyone fair play. Thank you to Mrs Kathryn Richards and Miss Carys Thomas from Bro Myrddin for judging. by the Eco Committee
